After relocating from California, this family home in Millbrook was designed to help the clients settle into their new town. They sought a residence that felt both comfortable and reflective of their lifestyle. The interiors reference their California roots through light tones, airy layouts, and contemporary materials, while remaining true to Connecticut. Throughout the house, white oak accents can be found in the stair tower, bay windows, and ceiling beams. The stair tower, spanning three levels, is framed by aluminum windows and showcases a chandelier with cascading LED pendants. Natural textures, soft finishes, and sun-filled spaces are layered with thoughtful details that anchor the home in its East Coast setting.
